ONDŘEJ VOSTATEK WILL JOIN A NEW TEAM WITH ANA CARRASCO FOR 2017

From 3 to 5 March, the ETG Racing team, which will include the talented Czech racer Ondřej Vostatek in the 2017 season, was introduced in Barcelona, Spain. Together with his team colleagues Ana Carrasco, Xavi Pinsache and Michal Búlik, the entire team spent the following day training on the flat track. In the evening they moved to the Calafat circuit, where Ondřej tested his Honda NSF 250, which the ETG Racing team is also getting ready for the FIM CEV Repsol, part of the Europe Talent Cup. The entire team moved again, this time to the circuit in Alcarras, for the remaining two days. There, Ondřej could test his new Beon Pre-moto3 bike, with which he will participate in the Spanish Championship CEV.
Jan Vostatek said:
"I very much liked the team's chemistry throughout testing, and I especially appreciated the professionalism of everyone. The bike worked very well and Ondra could improve with each training. Although the weather was often far from ideal, the lap times looked promising. I am very glad we decided for a change and for this team, which will be a great asset in achieving our goals."
In conclusion Ondřej Vostatek said:
"I am very glad I can be part of this team, which has a very good atmosphere and within which I can learn a lot. Both from my mechanics, and from my fellow racers, such as Ana Carrasco. Moreover, I have a friend on the team, Miško Búlik, who I have known ever since minibikes, so I am very much looking forward to us starting racing. Although this is going to be my freshman year in the Pre-moto3 category, and the competition is going to be fierce, I hope I will manage. I am likely to be the youngest racer in the new category, which will take place as part of the Junior World Championship – Europe Talent Cup, but I will ride my very own Honda NSF 250 I am used to. Even at this level, I will try my best and I hope to beat some of the great riders."
